All clients are now required to pay for appointments upfront upon booking. Once we have arranged an appointment date and time, I will send you a confirmation request for your appointment and an invoice for your required payment.
On arrival please use the side entrance to access the clinic. Please arrive for your appointment at your allocated time only as there are no waiting rooms in use.
Your therapist will then greet you outside. Please wear a face mask to and from your appointment unless medically exempt.
All clients attending for acupuncture are asked to eat before attending their appointment. This is very important and if you have not eaten please notify your therapist at the start of your appointment.
Need to reschedule? No Problem! Simply give me a message and I can rearrange this for you. For treatments cancelled or rearranged more than 24 hours before the arranged appointment time there will be no fee. For appointments cancelled within 24 hours, if you do not show up for your appointment or are more than 15 minutes late the full fee for the appointment must be paid before you may book another appointment.
All new acupuncture clients must come for an initial consultation before commencing further treatment. This allows your therapist to take a detailed case history and we can assess the right course of treatment. Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine modality for balancing the flow of energy - called 'chi' or 'qi' - which flows along channels in the body often called meridian lines. This is practiced with the use of needles inserted through a person's skin at specific points of the body.
Acupuncture follow up appointments should only be made by those who have had an initial consultation.
For clients who have a gap of 6 months or more in treatment, please book an initial consultation.
A treatment combining Acupuncture and massage - either full body or targeted e.g. back, neck and shoulders.
Cupping and/or Gua Sha may also be used within these sessions depending on clients needs, preference and treatment suitability.
Please note that this can only be booked after an initial acupuncture appointment as a detailed medical history needs to be taken before commencing acupuncture treatment.
Clients must have had an initial acupuncture intake appointment before booking.
Combining two energy healing modalities - Acupuncture and Reiki work in synergy to create the ultimate relaxing treatment and bring you back into balance.
Cupping therapy uses vacuum cups to create suction on the skin and tissues below, lifting the tissues into the cup. Cups may be left in position for a few minutes or slid along the skin. Gua Sha uses flat tools pressed against the skins surface in a gliding motion. Both methods can be used to treat muscle knots/tension, aid in blood and lymph flow as well and may help allergies, asthma , colds and gynae problems eBoth methods may leave a "bruise" after treatment which may last for several days.
Therapeutic massage uses a blend of techniques and pressures to help in the release of knots and tension.
Cupping or Gua Sha may also be used within this session depending on client needs, preference and treatment suitability.
A relaxing and therapeutic massage which can be either full body or back, neck and shoulders utilising a blend of techniques, combined with Reiki, an energy healing system originating in Japan designed to bring you back into balance - mind, body and soul.
